We used to read lotsa stories that evolved around the monster by the name of Frankenstein. It's like a myth. It was said that the monster was created by a man, a doctor or professor by the name of J. Frankenstein to prove that God is not the only one who can create a human being. The monster was recreated by using a human corpse, a male one to be precise. Well that was part of the stories that we always hear pertaining to this so called monster.
However, I, Frankenstein is quite a different story. It's like an untold story of this monster..or mebbe an extended version of one..where it takes Frankenstein to the present day.
After almost 200 years, Frankenstein is said to live to these days because he was searching for a peaceful place to live..erk..according to his story...
Then, it's said that in this world, there are two different 'clans' which are, of course the bad (the evil) and the good (the angel). The evil here represents by a Prince of Devil and his gangs(gosh..he is so ugly that I forgot his name!) versus the angel, represents by the gargoyles (with their so lovely queen than can turn to be an ugly gargoyle as well..erk...can u imagine an ugly angel?)
For soooooo many years there were fighting to rule the world (lameeee) and apparently came the Frankenstein in between (for he doesn't have a soul and neither he is a human, pretty confusing aite?) and a beautiful professor (I believe if they have the I, Frankenstein 2, she will be the soul partner to the monster) in between the war.
The CGI of this movie is not that bad but not that good either. The cinematography was quite nice especially when it comes to the war between the gargoyles and the devils. I would say that they have created a rather handsome monster than what we used to see before but sadly,I couldn't find the two signature bolts on Frankenstein's neck and he didn't has a green skin either!
I suggest you to watch this movie for it will open up a whole new chapter on this legendary monster, Frankenstein. ;)
